Trade-in & Resell Policy

INFORMATION

At Adelle Jewellery, customers can re-sell or exchange Adelle Jewellery pieces in accordance with the provisions set out in these terms and conditions.

Scope

These terms and conditions are a form of agreement between Adelle Jewellery and customers. In this case the customers is subject to all the provisions set in these Terms and Conditions and the amendments thereto, if any.

General Condition

  • By making a purchase on all platforms, Adelle Jewellery declares that the customer has read and agrees to the written terms and conditions.
  • This policy applies only to customers whose names are listed on valid invoices and certificates.
  • Every jewellery handover to Adelle Jewellery store must be accompanied by a purchase invoice & original certificate.
  • Jewellery handover for re-sell and trade-in program CAN ONLY be done at Adelle Jewellery retail store (Offline store).

  • Invoices and certificates with "Non-exchangeable and Non-resellable" sign means that jewellery is not exchangable and non-resalable. Adelle Jewellery has the right to refuse it from customers.
  • Personalized orders (such as engraving or custom made) for customer cannot be returned for exchange or re-sell to Adelle Jewellery.
  • If the customer has pass away, Adelle Jewellery can only receive the jewellery from his/her legal heirs or successors accompanied by all documents proving this.
  • Exchange and re-sell will be subject to 'QC' quality standards by Adelle Jewellery, to ensure than returned pieces meet these requirements.
  • If the product does not meet the QC standards specified by Adelle Jewellery, we reserve the right not to accept any exchange or return, or alternatively, may reduce the amount of the applicable refund or exchange.

Changes and Updates to the Resell & Trade-in policy

  • If there is a difference between this policy and the statement given by the representative of Adelle Jewellery, then the Terms & Conditions in this policy will apply.
  • The policies listed here are not perfect and subject to change without prior notice.
  • Any changes that apply to this policy are considered as the last and most recent policy. This Resell & Trade-in policy is set on: August 1st, 2021.

Diamond Jewellery Exchange Guarantee

Customers can exchange diamond jewellery that has been purchased from the Adelle Jewellery boutique within 30 (thirty) days from the date of purchase with the following conditions:

  • Exchanged jewellery must be in good condition and can be received by Adelle Jewellery complete with valid invoice and certificate.
  • Customers are only entitled to make 1 (one) time exchange for the product that have been purchased based on the information on the purchase invoice.

Diamond Jewellery Trade-In

Jewellery that have been purchased by customer can be trade-in for another piece with the following conditions:
 
  • Jewellery must be in good condition and can be received by Adelle Jewellery complete with valid invoice and certificate.
  • Trade-in value received by the customer follows the terms written on the invoice. 
  • Trade in of a non-certified products (In House Certification) to certified products (GIA/GEMEX): minimum 50% increase.
  • Trade in other product categories: minimum 30% increase.
  • Trade-in is valid for 1 (one) invoice for 1 (one) invoice or 1 (one) invoice for multiple invoices but not vice versa.

Re-sell option

  • Customers have the option to resell jewellery in good condition and can be accepted by Adelle Jewellery, accompanied by valid invoices and certificates. The re-sell value received by the customer follows the terms on the invoice. 
  • Payment for resell will be made by bank-transfer method to the customer's account, according to the written customer's name with a maximum of 3 working days after we received the diamond jewellery in good condition.
